Ivan Albertovitch POUNI, called Jean Pougny, is Cesar Pugny's grandson, Italian Composor who was conductor at the Opéra de Paris.In 1912, he became a friend of members of the Russian Avant-garde like Malevitch.He took part to the exposition "Valet de carreau" in 1917 and published a suprematist manifest with Bogouslavskaïa.In 1918 , he took part to the demonstrations of 'agit-prop and transformed plasticly the roads and the places of Petrograd. In 1924, he settled down in Paris where he adopted a figurative style which reminds the drawings made by Pierre Bonnard and Edouard Vuillard.
